Job Title: Behavior Support Companion

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Behavior Support Companion at the Institute for Applied Behavior Analysis (IABA). As a Behavior Support Companion, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities and other special needs.

Job Summary

The Behavior Support Companion will work in a variety of settings, including homes and community environments, to provide respite care and support to clients and their families. This is a part-time position with flexible hours, offering the opportunity to develop a personal relationship with the individuals and families you work with.

Responsibilities
  • Provide primary support and care to clients with developmental disabilities and other special needs
  • Engage in activities that promote socialization and skill development
  • Assist with daily living care needs, including personal care and support
  • Conduct and lead socialization activities to promote client well-being
  • Maintain accurate records of client progress and services provided
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic computer skills
  • Familiarity with developmental disabilities and their support needs
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends, with a flexible schedule
