We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Alterations Customer Service Representative to join our team at David's Bridal. Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome and service customers with genuine enthusiasm and friendliness, adapting your communication style to suit their needs.
  • Manage customer flow to deliver a five-star customer experience, meeting all service vows and operational checklists.
  • Provide an exceptional service experience to multiple customers at once, contributing to the store's achievement of Five-Star Customer Service.
  • Proactively address customer concerns with confidence, knowing when to escalate and partner with leadership.
  • Promote all alterations services and personalization options, effectively communicating how alterations can perfect the dress for our customers' special events.
  • Maintain store standards, including cleanliness, organization, and promotional readiness, to support a flawless shopping experience.
  • Greet and escort alterations customers to and from appointments, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
  • Press, steam, and spot clean all merchandise, adhering to quality control guidelines and inspecting garments to verify pristine condition before delivery.
  • Build long-term relationships to meet and exceed customer satisfaction and loyalty, supporting inventory management and processing special orders, pick-ups, and first-quality standards.
  • Support all cash wrap behaviors and processes transactions with accuracy, ensuring every customer feels celebrated.
  • Seek assistance from the Alterations Manager to address customer issues that cannot be resolved.
  • Maintain a clean and well-organized alterations room, performing duties and tasks as assigned by store management.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent degree.
  • 1-2 years prior retail experience in an apparel or specialty store environment.
  • Prior sewing experience is helpful.
  • Prior experience with computerized POS (Point of Sale) system.
