Job Description:

Parsons Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Senior Government Property Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, accounting for, controlling, and managing government furnished and contractor-acquired government property in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify compliance and flow-down requirements from prime contracts and deviations from standard procedures/manuals.
  • Develop procedures, instructions, forms, and training programs for government property management.
  • Implement government property processes, including asset control, inventories, training, employee orientation, and disposal.
  • Create and maintain property records using the Wasp inventory management software and databases for uniquely identified property, summary records, subcontractor property, excess property, and disposed property.
  • Prepare various property reports, such as government inventory and government property status reports, upon request.
  • Participate in government property-related meetings, organize materials, and prepare presentations and training sessions.
  • Provide audit support and participate in property-related audits.
  • Conduct investigations and inquiries into government property management issues, such as loss, damage, or destruction of government property or vehicle accident reviews.
  • Coordinate with other functional departments as necessary.
  • Prepare or assist in the preparation of periodic status reports, including reports on locations, property value, and utilization status.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must be a U.S. citizen and possess an active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field from an accredited college or university.
  • A minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience in property administration is required.
  • Certified Professional Property Manager (CPPM) certification.
  • National Property Management Association (NPMA) Certified Professional Property Administrator (CPPA) certification or other related certifications.
  • Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and applicable Agency Supplements.
  • Knowledge of auditing techniques.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint, Costpoint, and Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM).

Desired Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact with diverse work teams.
  • Advanced oral and written communications, including advanced writing and editing.
  • Ability to work independently and advanced problem-solving skills.
  • Basic knowledge of contract types, terms, and legal requirements.
  • Preferred knowledge of industry-leading standards, such as ASTM E53.

Physical Requirements:

  • Employees must possess the ability to work in an office environment, lab, or high bay.
  • If required, employees must be able to operate a motor vehicle.
  • Must have hearing and speech to communicate in person, before groups, and over the telephone.
  • Standing in work areas and walking between work areas may be required.
  • This position may require an employee to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, or balance, reach, push, and pull.
  • The employee may also be required to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.

Salary Range: $61,100.00 - $107,100.00
