Key Responsibilities and Qualifications

The Senior Vice President of Operations is responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects in alignment with the facility's strategic objectives. This includes resource acquisition and collaboration with team members to effectively coordinate assigned projects. As a member of the management team, you will engage in institutional planning, policy formulation, priority setting, and management decisions. You will hold full operational accountability for departments assigned by the supervising executive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Administrative Team to respond to Division and Group requests for market and facility data.
  • Work alongside the Administrative Team and physicians to enhance existing processes or develop new service opportunities.
  • Provide administrative and operational leadership to assigned departments.
  • Ensure the application of Customer Service principles to meet and exceed the expectations of both internal and external customers.
  • Manage fiscal operations of assigned departments, utilizing the budget as a guideline for revenue and expense analysis.
  • Oversee operations of assigned departments to achieve targets for designated Key Performance Indicators.
  • Fulfill leadership obligations under the Ethics and Compliance Program.
  • Foster strong relationships with physicians, employees, and peers.
  • Utilize HCA tools for effective management of responsibilities.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A Master's degree in Business Administration or Healthcare Administration is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital leadership role is preferred.

Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center (EIRMC) is a full-service hospital with over 318 patient beds, making it the largest medical facility in the region. We serve southeast Idaho, western Wyoming, Yellowstone National Park, and parts of Montana. Our facility includes an ER, a Level II Trauma Center, a Level 1 ICU (one of two in Idaho), and the only Burn Center in Idaho. We also feature the region's only Pediatric Intensive Care Unit for critically ill children, along with a 74-bed Behavioral Health Center offering inpatient and outpatient mental health care for adolescents and adults.
