Position Overview: Shipping & Receiving Clerk

The Shipping & Receiving Clerk plays a crucial role in managing the flow of goods in and out of the facility. This position ensures that all incoming shipments are accurately processed and outgoing items are prepared efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough inspections of incoming shipments to verify accuracy and quality
  • Timely input of received inventory into the management system
  • Identify the most effective methods for dispatching outgoing shipments
  • Adhere to established receiving protocols, ensuring proper labeling and organization of stock
Key Qualifications:
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong data entry skills
  • A collaborative team player with a positive attitude
  • Experience in interpreting shipping documents and procedures

This role does not entail supervising other staff members and is primarily conducted in a warehouse setting. Physical requirements include the ability to lift and handle materials as well as standing for prolonged periods.
