Position Summary: The Wholesale Parts Stockperson plays a crucial role in managing incoming orders, ensuring they are accurately stocked and recorded in alignment with dealership standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Receive and verify incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy in both orders and quantities.
- Process will call orders efficiently.
- Prepare parts for counter sales personnel.
- Maintain detailed records of receiving and shipping activities.
- Organize and prepare shipments for stocking.
- Assist in the stocking process.
- Support the upkeep of bins and equipment.
- Help arrange the department, including the movement of bins as necessary.
- Oversee returned parts and manage a designated storage area for these items.
- Ensure cleanliness and proper labeling of all bins, aisles, and storage areas.
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- Must fulfill the Company's employment criteria.
- Ability to read and understand instructions and information.
- Minimum of one year of experience in a dealership role.
- Capability to interpret vendor catalogs.
- Proficiency in using parts department computer systems and calculators.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Work Environment: The AutoNation Parts Center operates in a non-temperature-controlled setting. Employees should be prepared to work in varying temperatures throughout the year.
Compensation: The anticipated annual salary for this position is approximately $31.32, depending on individual experience and qualifications.
