Human Resources Manager

The Human Resource Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of ACS's human resources activities, including routine functions such as hiring, interviewing, payroll processing, new hire orientation, benefits enrollment, and enforcing company policies and practices.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the primary point of contact for employees and managers for all HR-related matters, providing solutions to issues that are satisfactory to the employee and in the best interest of the organization.
- Process hourly and salaried payrolls and special runs using the current HRIS system, ensuring accuracy in employees' pay and withholding information, and performing regular system audits.
- Manage the talent acquisition process, including recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants.
- Manage and maintain accurate human resources files and data, complete compliance reports, and respond to survey requests.
- Create and conduct new hire onboarding and orientation processes, manage separations and offboarding of employees, and conduct benefits enrollment.
- Assist in creating learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
- Assist with the performance management system, ensuring performance improvement plans are developed and tracked appropriately.
- Assist with planning and hosting regular employee events and meetings, building and maintaining positive relationships with all employees.
- Remain actively involved in community events and represent ACS in forums and boards such as chamber meetings.
- Assist with employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations, working closely with the SVP and other company managers as required.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices, providing appropriate counsel to company managers.
- Work closely with and support the EHS Manager to ensure safe working practices and manage the company's workers compensation program.
- Assist in AS9100 compliance audits and assist in ITAR compliance.
- Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law, making recommendations for changes and improvements in HR policies and processes based on current information.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, plus a minimum of seven years of progressive human resource management experience in a manufacturing environment, or a combination of education and relevant experience in lieu.
- HR certification is a plus.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS and talent management systems.
