Position Overview
We are looking for a seasoned Aerospace Loads Engineer to take on a leadership role within the Cyient organization, working remotely in the United States. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in aircraft loads analysis, covering all stages of the aircraft lifecycle, from initial concept to certification and operational deployment. You will have a proven track record in establishing technical requirements for the Loads discipline and overseeing their management throughout the lifecycle. A strong understanding of aircraft development processes, such as ARP4754, is essential. Proficiency in the Japanese language is also preferred.
Work Environment :
This is a remote position; however, some travel to Japan is anticipated. Candidates must possess a valid passport and be willing to participate in a project initiation and training program in Japan lasting 1-2 months.
Key Responsibilities :
Conduct comprehensive aircraft Loads analysis throughout all phases of the aircraft lifecycle, from concept to certification and service entry. Develop and manage technical requirements for the Loads discipline, ensuring thorough capture, maturation, validation, and verification. Collaborate across various disciplines to address and harmonize technical challenges among multiple teams. Leverage your in-depth knowledge of Part/CS 23/25/27/29 to create compliance strategies for Loads-related requirements. Innovate techniques from the ground up to facilitate aircraft design, integration, and testing. Rapidly assimilate knowledge from team members regarding the distinctions between conventional fixed and rotary wing aircraft. Apply your understanding of rotor blade aerodynamics and rotor dynamics to enhance Loads analysis.Required Qualifications :
A Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or a related field. At least 10 years of experience in Loads analysis for certified aerospace vehicles. Strong familiarity with aircraft development processes, particularly ARP4754. Extensive knowledge of Part/CS 23/25/27/29 and experience in formulating compliance strategies for Loads requirements. Experience with multi-copter Loads analysis, or at minimum, a theoretical understanding of the challenges associated with certification. Knowledge of the interactions between Systems of Structures regulations and computing loads for aircraft utilizing fly-by-wire control systems. Understanding of multi-copter aerodynamics and its implications for Loads requirements and analysis.Skills & Experience
Expertise in Aerospace, Design, Manufacturing, and Materials Properties is essential.
