Overview

Calspan's Force Measurement division is a leading provider of complex force measuring aerospace hardware and prototype systems for ground test and flight applications. With a strong presence in the development of domestic fixed-wing aircraft, missiles, and helicopters, we are seeking a skilled Calibration Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Senior Technicians to calibrate force measurement balances using hydraulic and dead weight loading.
  • Inspect subsystem equipment and assemble complex force measurement balance systems.
  • Perform electrical checks using digital multimeters and make patch panel wiring connections.
  • Assist with static load calibration of complex force measurement systems and calibrate force measurement balances.
  • Support Engineers with the assembly of mechanical systems and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic problems.
Qualifications
  • Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3+ years of related discipline experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and documents.
  • Knowledge of operating a mill and lathe is a plus.

Salary Range

USD $24.04/Yr. - USD $31.25/Yr.
