Position Responsibilities


The Vice President of Marketing will spearhead the marketing division, encompassing brand management, digital outreach, and traditional marketing efforts.

This role requires extensive management experience and a successful history of guiding diverse teams in the formulation, development, and execution of corporate marketing strategies aimed at maintaining market dominance and fostering growth in ever-evolving business landscapes.


Key duties will center around generating qualified leads through a variety of methods, including strategic planning, advertising, corporate communications, public relations, market analysis, direct marketing, and other conventional media channels.


Furthermore, the VP of Marketing will supervise the marketing team, cultivate relationships with external vendors and partners involved in the marketing ecosystem, and prepare detailed performance reports that align with the marketing strategy and budget.


The ideal candidate will possess robust analytical capabilities, enabling them to assess the entire lead generation and sales process.

They will report on outcomes using key performance indicators such as ROI, CPL, and CPA, and implement a marketing strategy that can be evaluated on a weekly basis.

This role also entails managing and contributing to the rollout of weekly campaigns across various platforms, including online, digital, print media, television, radio, outdoor advertising, direct mail, email campaigns, and marketing automation.

A profound understanding of contemporary marketing practices and analytics, along with the ability to extract and interpret metrics, is crucial.


The VP of Marketing will also oversee the creation of engaging marketing materials and establish partnerships that yield additional qualified leads and cross-selling opportunities.

Familiarity with manufacturer co-op advertising and the capacity to optimize available funds beyond standard program parameters is advantageous.


This hands-on role necessitates high-level strategic thinking and active participation in all facets of the company's sales and marketing goals to ensure objectives are met or surpassed.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Refine and implement a comprehensive strategic marketing plan to support the company's growth ambitions and enhance its market reputation.

Lead and develop marketing personnel and external resources to execute strategies effectively.

Generate marketing materials, efficient lead generation programs, and sales collateral.

Collaborate with the Director of Brand Marketing to strategize, manage, and execute digital marketing initiatives, content strategies, editorial calendars, and social media plans.

Establish and implement SEO strategies to ensure optimal on-site performance, enhancing traffic quality, website rankings, lead volume, and brand visibility.

Work collaboratively with other departments to devise effective market segment strategies.

Oversee annual marketing budgets in alignment with corporate financial targets.

Develop innovative communications, public relations, and advertising strategies to drive profitability and growth, while managing relationships with external marketing, advertising, PR firms, SEO, SEM, and social media partners.

Lead promotional campaigns and events.

Analyze product and brand performance utilizing both internal and external data sources, adjusting strategies as necessary.

Monitor competitive landscape and conduct competitive and post-campaign analyses to assess the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.

Develop, implement, and analyze qualitative and quantitative market research.

Drive the creative direction of all marketing materials, including image selection, copywriting, and overall graphic design.


Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

20+ years of experience in a senior marketing leadership role within a corporate setting.

Exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate across all departments and staff levels.

Significant experience in lead generation and direct response marketing.

Strong foundation in all facets of marketing.

Proficient in Excel and data analysis through spreadsheet creation.

Extensive CRM experience, preferably with Microsoft Dynamics or equivalent systems.

Experience on the client side in a similar capacity is a plus.

Proficient in WordPress, website development, and maintenance.

Comprehensive understanding of SEM, SEO, paid social media, and high proficiency in Google Analytics and other analytical tools.
