Job Summary

The Processing Packaging Associate will work collaboratively with the Processing Team to achieve production demands and maintain quality standards. This role involves a variety of tasks, with a primary focus on packaging.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet production demands and quality standards
  • Manufacture products, prepare product batches for data entry in METRC, and perform final counts on all product transfers
  • Communicate with Team Leads and assist in other areas when not performing daily tasks
  • Maintain personal cleanliness in the Processing area (in compliance with GMP)
  • Follow equipment, chemicals, and other safety protocols as required by the Company
  • Maintain accurate records, inventories, and data, as needed
  • Perform other duties assigned by the Director of Processing, Assistant Director of Processing, or their designees
Requirements
  • High School Diploma
  • Good math skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Excellent counting skills
  • Good to excellent manual dexterity
  • Ability to work without supervision
  • Meet the cleanliness standard required by law and Company policy for products and packaging
  • Understand compliance regulations and adhere to SOPs for specialized areas
  • Ability to work with labeling equipment
  • Ability to work with heat sealing equipment
  • Ability to work with capsule and bottle filling equipment
  • Ability to use basic hand tools to set up and maintain standard packaging equipment
  • Ability to use a laboratory balance to weigh or count product
  • Ability to use a calculator
  • At least 21 years of age
  • Willing to participate in an extensive background check
  • Effective time management skills
Physical Requirements
  • The ability to lift 50 pounds regularly
  • The ability to respond quickly to sounds
  • The ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces
  • The ability to see and respond to dangerous situations
  • The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly most of the day
  • The ability to sit or stand for up to 12 hours at a time
  • The ability to work in bright/hot/humid conditions
  • The ability to work in high CO2 environments
  • The ability to use a half face respirator
  • The ability to complete fine motor functions
Work Environment

This is a full-time position with variable hours required. Our facility is open from 6 am to 8 pm seven days a week. Candidates with weekend availability are required. You will have to complete a State/Federal background check, as well as a drug screening pre-employment. Grow Ohio offers a competitive compensation package with attractive benefit offerings.
