Your Role:

We are seeking a full-time Regional Operations Supervisor (ROS) to join our team. The ROS plays a pivotal role in the project management framework, ensuring the smooth execution of daily operations. This position emphasizes safety, quality assurance, scheduling, cost management, and overall performance, while directly overseeing contractor activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily field operations, managing resource distribution, scheduling activities, prioritizing workloads, resolving issues, and maintaining client relations.
  • Monitor maintenance tasks that may require night-time work.
  • Supervise personnel and subcontractors during field operations and maintenance, ensuring adherence to timelines and budget constraints.
  • Lead the implementation of the safety program, including updates to safety plans, conducting training, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering a culture of safety.
  • Develop and maintain work plans on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis to support infrastructure asset management.
  • Create Field Work Orders as necessary to uphold infrastructure standards.
  • Ensure compliance with maintenance rating program requirements and reporting standards.
  • Facilitate effective communication with designated personnel to coordinate daily tasks.
  • Manage training schedules in accordance with job hazard analyses.
  • Utilize a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) for work order management, production tracking, quality control, and reporting.
  • Assist the project manager in maintaining up-to-date activity trackers.
  • Adhere to ethical standards and integrity as outlined in the company's Code of Business Conduct.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the project manager.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in highway maintenance or construction in a supervisory capacity, demonstrating leadership in similar projects.
  • Five (5) years of experience in operations management or supervision, preferably within transportation, construction, engineering, or maintenance sectors.
  • Familiarity with field operations, construction/maintenance equipment, and vehicles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and standard software applications.
  • Completion of relevant training courses within one month of starting the role.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment screenings, including background checks and drug screening.
  • Compliance with the Company's Drug and Alcohol policy.
  • Authorization to work in the US is required.

Work Environment:

This position primarily involves onsite responsibilities.
