Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Industrial Hygienist to join our Risk Control team at Liberty Mutual. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and conducting Industrial Hygiene field surveys to identify and assess physical, chemical, or biological health hazards in the workplace.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct advanced-level field assignments to identify and assess health hazards in the workplace
  • Develop and implement recommendations for controlling sources of risk, loss, and cost
  • Prepare reports to management on the value of Industrial Hygiene interventions
  • Provide support and assistance to internal market partners in the selection, acquisition, and retention of profitable business
  • Mentor less experienced staff and participate in projects to develop and maintain service tools and standard operating procedures
Requirements
  • Advanced knowledge of risk management, occupational disease risk assessment, and control
  • Knowledge of software applications designed to facilitate data aggregation and analysis
  • Demonstrated ability to consult with and influence all levels of an organization
  • Advanced problem-solving, research, and analytical skills
  • Excellent written communication skills for documenting service plans and management reports
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) designation
