POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Landscape Enhancements Crew Supervisor is tasked with executing essential landscape-related functions safely and efficiently across designated properties. This role involves guiding the crew to ensure timely and quality project completion. It is an entry-level position suitable for individuals with limited experience in the landscaping sector, reporting directly to the Operations Manager.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Supervises a team of two (2) to six (6) members.
  • Ensures the crew meets project deadlines and adheres to scheduled hours.
  • Assigns daily responsibilities to team members.
  • Operates company vehicles for transportation to various job sites.
  • Maintains the security and proper usage of company vehicles and equipment.
  • Documents daily activities, including accurate timesheets for the crew.
  • Utilizes hand tools and machinery for landscape enhancement tasks.
  • Prepares and levels terrain as required.
  • Installs and relocates trees, shrubs, and other plant materials.
  • Implements grass, flower, and artificial turf installations.
  • Conducts general site clean-up.
  • Ensures tools and equipment are maintained for safety.
  • Meets attendance requirements of 40 hours per week.
  • Performs additional duties as necessary.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ability to follow oral instructions with common sense understanding.
  • Capable of handling standardized situations with minimal variables.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and a strong team player.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English for effective communication.
  • Ability to maintain focus and attention in a potentially hazardous environment.
  • Willingness to wear personal protective equipment as needed.
  • Ability to enter and exit vehicles multiple times daily.
  • Comfortable working in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to navigate different terrains.
  • Capable of lifting and moving weights up to 75 pounds as required.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the job site.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background checks.
HAZARDS:
  • Exposure to hazardous equipment and moving parts.
  • Working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Potential exposure to noise requiring hearing protection.
  • Working on uneven terrain.
  • Possible encounters with wildlife and natural irritants.
