Electronics Design Engineer Job Description

Senspex, a leading provider of advanced imaging technologies, is seeking an Electronics Design Engineer to join our engineering team. As an Electronics Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing cutting-edge electronic systems and products that interface sensors, users, machines, hardware, and software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electronic circuits, subsystems, and products for commercial, military, and scientific applications.
  • Conduct circuit design and analysis using computer-assisted engineering design software and equipment.
  • Draft detail and assembly drawings of design components, schematics, and printed circuit board layouts.
  • Collaborate with engineers, customers, and vendors to discuss existing and potential electronics engineering projects or products.
  • Provide innovative and advantageous electrical engineering approaches to the business development team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (electrical or optical) or other related technical field plus 4 years of directly-related experience.
  • Knowledge of circuit board design, chips, processors, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software.
  • Ability to read and create detailed engineering drawings.
  • Experience in infrared/electro optical sensors, image processing, sensor fusion, sensor design and analysis, sensor testing and data analysis, and integration on platforms.
