Job Title: Engineering Technician

At Senspex, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Technician to join our Operations Department. As an Engineering Technician, you will be responsible for providing professional repair and maintenance services for our products and services, including thermal imaging and video camera systems, electro-mechanical switching mechanisms, video processing, and environmental sensing devices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement sensor network solutions by setting up, configuring, and commissioning sensor networks and establishing connections on various electronic devices.
  • Analyze, test, troubleshoot, and evaluate camera and network systems, internet systems, or a segment of a network system; perform maintenance to ensure camera systems integrate with networks correctly with minimal interruption.
  • Install/program computer hardware or machine or instrumentation software in microprocessor-based systems.
  • Evaluate customer/operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrated technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional, and program interfaces.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field; or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
  • Strong networking and field engineering background.
  • 1+ years' experience.
  • Fluent in the basics of Microsoft (MS) Office Tools.
  • Apply basic systems engineering principals to solve problems.
  • Create process-driven documentation, manage project requirements.
  • Equipment operation, towing, electrical, electronics and radio communications training are preferred.
  • Troubleshoot to determine Root Cause and apply Corrective Action.
  • Ability to travel, up to 50%, for site assessments, troubleshooting, installations, or any other requirement.
