Your Role as a Client Care Specialist

As a Client Care Specialist, you will be the welcoming presence our clients and their beloved pets encounter. Your role is essential in ensuring that every visit to our clinic is a pleasant and memorable experience. Key Responsibilities:

  • Friendly Greetings: Welcome clients and their pets with a friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel appreciated and at ease.
  • Appointment Coordination: Manage multi-line phone systems, schedule appointments, and maintain accurate medical records.
  • Transaction Handling: Efficiently process payments and manage financial transactions.
  • Administrative Duties: Assist with filing, data entry, and other administrative responsibilities while keeping the reception area organized and inviting.
  • Client and Pet Support: Aid with check-ins and check-outs, and assist kennel and boarding staff with pet care tasks as necessary.

Qualifications We Seek:

  • Education: A High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year of customer service experience is preferred.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle potentially anxious or aggressive animals with assurance.
  • Personality Traits: Outgoing, energetic, and genuinely compassionate about animal welfare.

Safety and Physical Considerations:

  • Commitment to Safety: While assisting in various areas, you may encounter safety hazards. We ensure that all team members receive training to manage these situations safely and are provided with personal protective equipment as necessary.
  • Physical Demands: The position may involve physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and walking. You should be comfortable performing these duties and assisting with various tasks throughout the clinic.
