Your Role as a Client Relations Specialist
As a Client Relations Specialist, you will be the welcoming presence our clients and their beloved pets encounter first. Your position is essential in ensuring that every visit to our clinic is a pleasant and unforgettable experience. If you are a pet lover with a friendly demeanor, we would be delighted to meet you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Warm Greetings: Welcome clients and their pets with a friendly smile, ensuring they feel appreciated and at ease.
- Appointment Coordination: Manage multi-line phone systems, schedule appointments, and maintain accurate medical records.
- Transaction Management: Efficiently process payments and handle financial transactions.
- Administrative Duties: Assist with filing, data entry, and other clerical tasks while keeping the reception area organized and inviting.
- Client and Pet Support: Aid with check-ins and check-outs, and support the kennel and boarding staff with pet care tasks as required.
- Education: A High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year in customer service is preferred.
- Physical Ability: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and manage potentially anxious or aggressive animals with assurance.
- Personality Traits: Outgoing, energetic, and genuinely caring about animal welfare.
- Safety Protocols: While assisting in various areas, you may encounter safety hazards. We ensure all team members are trained to navigate these situations safely and are provided with necessary personal protective equipment.
- Physical Demands: The role may involve physical activities such as lifting, bending, and walking. You should be comfortable performing these tasks and assisting with various responsibilities throughout the clinic.
