Social Media Partnerships Manager

Position Overview:

GEICO is on the lookout for a Social Media Partnerships Manager to spearhead the daily operations of our influencer, entertainment, and multicultural content strategies. This role entails overseeing content initiatives from the initial concept to launch, working in close collaboration with agencies, talent teams, and internal partners. This position within Integrated Media & Marketing reports to the Senior Manager of Influencer, Entertainment, and Culture, presenting a unique opportunity to lead impactful content activations and enhance the influencer practice at GEICO.

Key Responsibilities:

Influencer Program Oversight:
  • Act as the primary contact for executing content across influencer, entertainment, and cultural collaborations, ensuring smooth end-to-end implementation and alignment with strategic goals.
  • Manage content activation, effectively overseeing timelines, deliverables, and resources.
  • Create culturally relevant content that resonates with diverse audiences and showcases the richness of multicultural communities.
  • Exhibit meticulous attention to detail in managing program logistics, including content briefs, production schedules, talent agreements, and budget management.
  • Provide creative insights and ideas for content development and execution, leveraging expertise in influencer, entertainment, and multicultural marketing to foster innovation and differentiation.
  • Proactively address challenges and resolve issues to ensure successful program delivery, brand safety, and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and experimentation, keeping up with social trends and emerging technologies.
Cultural Integration:
  • Champion authentic representation and inclusive storytelling across all branded content, promoting cultural relevance and awareness.
  • Lead the identification, cultivation, and management of multicultural partnerships to enhance brand relevance and engagement within diverse communities.
  • Build relationships with multicultural influencers, content creators, and community organizations to co-create content and amplify brand messaging authentically.
  • Collaborate with talent teams and agencies to ensure diverse representation in talent selection and content production, fostering inclusivity and representation.
  • Utilize cultural insights and audience segmentation data to inform content strategies and messaging, ensuring relevance and resonance with multicultural audiences.
Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Work with cross-functional teams, including marketing strategy, creative, media, DEI, legal, and analytics to ensure seamless execution of content programs.
  • Provide updates on content activation initiatives and seek alignment on strategic priorities.
  • Regularly communicate program updates, milestones, and performance metrics to internal and external stakeholders.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
  • 6-8 years of experience in content marketing, digital activation, or a related field, focusing on program management and execution.
  • Demonstrated success in managing content programs from concept through production and launch, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience collaborating with external agencies, talent teams, and senior leadership stakeholders, showcasing strong relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage workload and priorities effectively.
  • Strong analytical abilities to synthesize data and derive actionable insights to enhance program performance.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
Location:
  • 3 days/week at one of the designated GEICO locations.
Annual Salary:
$95,000 - $168,000.00
The above annual salary range serves as a general guideline. Multiple factors are considered to determine the final hourly rate/annual salary offered to the selected candidate, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's work experience, education and training, work location, as well as market and business considerations.
