Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to join our team at a highly successful mining and building materials company. As a Systems Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining control systems that ensure the safe and efficient operation of our client's facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement control systems using distributed control systems (DCS), programmable logic controllers (PLC), human-machine interfaces (HMI), and process automation.
  • Develop and maintain strong knowledge of control system principles, including ladder logic, structured text, and function block programming.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Configure and maintain VMware virtual environments.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in control systems engineering, preferably in the cement or heavy industrial sector.
  • Strong knowledge of control system principles, distributed control systems (DCS), programmable logic controllers (PLC), human-machine interfaces (HMI), and process automation.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as ladder logic, structured text, or function block.
  • Experience with control system hardware, networking, and communication protocols.
  • Experience configuring and maintaining VMware virtual environments.
