Job Summary:We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient graduate engineer to join our team as an Entry-Level Control Systems Programmer. In this role, you will work with our team to develop and maintain industrial control systems software for water and wastewater treatment processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop detailed technical documentation, including engineering reports, shop drawings, HMI and PLC programming standards, operations and maintenance manuals, training manuals, and detailed test procedures.
- Configure, program, debug, and commission HMI and PLC-based industrial control systems to meet specific project requirements.
- Implement network configuration and cybersecurity best practices for industrial control systems.
- Document software design, programming changes, and system configurations.
- Provide technical support and training to operations and maintenance personnel.
- Stay updated on industry standards, trends, and advancements in control systems programming.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science required.
- Minimum 2 to 5 years of PLC/HMI programming experience required.
- Work in the previous 2 to 5 years must be at least 75% in programming.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment individually and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Certification as an Engineer in Training preferred, but not required.
- Ability to travel up to 20%.
- Must be available to work in our Dallas or San Antonio, TX office.
- Must be able to legally work in the US without sponsorship.
