Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Automation Specialist to join our team at CPG Talent Management. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining industrial automation systems to optimize manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enforce cybersecurity policies and standards to protect industrial control systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex plant control system issues, escalating when necessary.
  • Manage automation improvement projects and participate in recovery efforts during equipment and plant outages or planned shutdowns.
  • Develop and implement industrial automation asset management strategies using Claroty and SolarWinds.
  • Collaborate with operations and project teams on corporate and plant initiatives.
Requirements
  • Experience in plant-wide automation network design, Allen Bradley/Rockwell PLC programming, and industrial networking and communication protocols.
  • Basic electrical knowledge and comfort working with control systems and their associated components.
  • Familiarity with SCADA or HMI systems, programming languages, and SQL programming.
  • Excellent conflict resolution and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fast learner, open to learning new things, and adaptable to change.
Preferred Qualifications
  • ISA/IES 62443 Cybersecurity Certification.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing related to automation and operations technologies.
