NCDR CathPCI Data Abstraction Specialist

At American Data Network, we're seeking a skilled Clinical Data Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our data abstraction team, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of data for the NCDR CathPCI Registry.
Responsibilities:
- Collect and abstract data from patient medical records, focusing on cardiac care information.
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of abstracted data by cross-referencing information from multiple sources.
- Adhere to clinical data abstraction guidelines and standards, such as those set by the American College of Cardiology.
- Enter abstracted data into a database or registry, using specialized software.
- Participate in quality assurance processes to ensure data integrity.
Requirements:
- Experience abstracting in the NCDR CathPCI Registry within the last 2 years.
- Familiarity with medical records, billing/documentation practices, Microsoft Office, and standard healthcare quality concepts.
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
- High standard of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
This is a remote position, and we prefer candidates with an MSN, BSN, or RN degree. CPHQ certification is also a plus.
