The role of a Room Attendant Support Specialist is vital in assisting housekeeping staff in preparing accommodations for guests.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist housekeeping personnel with the removal of used linens and towels from guest rooms.
  • Transport soiled towels to the laundry for cleaning.
  • Provide fresh linens and towels to housekeeping staff for guest rooms.
  • Deliver additional supplies to housekeeping as required.
  • Maintain effective communication with housekeeping staff to ensure timely and efficient room cleaning.
  • Vacuum hallways on guest room floors.
  • Perform all tasks in alignment with brand standards, focusing on exceeding guest expectations.
  • Complete any other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Experience:

  • No formal education required.
  • Up to one month of relevant experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Ability to remain standing for extended periods, up to 8 hours daily.
  • Capability to perform assigned tasks with attention to detail, efficiency, and minimal supervision.
  • Physical ability to exert effort consistent with the role, adhering to hotel standards.
  • Ability to grasp, bend, stoop, and push or pull heavy items weighing up to 30 lbs.
