Job Details

We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly-experienced Accounting Supervisor to join our rapidly growing team in the manufacturing sector. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing a team, overseeing billing and collections, and handling accounts receivable.

Responsibilities:
The Accounting Supervisor will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including but not limited to:

1. Overseeing daily transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
2. Participating in regular tax audits and payroll processing.
3. Preparing budgeting reports and forecasting revenue.
4. Enhancing and implementing financial and inventory control systems and methodologies.
5. Supervising and managing financial department staff, including accountants and financial assistants.
6. Motivating and leading accounting staff members by clarifying roles and providing constructive feedback.
7. Suggesting updates and improvements for accounting systems, including payroll and invoicing.
8. Ensuring all accounting activities and internal audits comply with financial regulations.
9. Consulting with senior management to guide and influence long-term and strategic decision-making within the broadest scope.
10. Streamlining accounting functions and operations.
11. Developing plans for financial growth.
12. Evaluating and managing risk.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Accounting Supervisor position will have the following qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred).
2. Professional accounting designation (CA, CMA, or CPA).
3. 5+ years of experience in a senior accounting role, with at least 3 years of supervisory experience.
4. Solid knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and regulations.
5. Excellent knowledge of accounting and financial processes (budgeting, financial closure, reporting, etc.).
6. Understanding of data analysis and forecasting.
7. Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and accounting software.
8. An analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude.
9. Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
10. Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to manage personnel and complex organizational budgets.
