Quality Assurance Specialist 2nd Shift

Eaton's ES AMER PCS division is seeking a Quality Inspector 2nd Shift to join our team. This role involves verifying correct Wiring, Components, Connectors, and Structure assemblies, adhering to Eaton's quality standards and ensuring timely order fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect products produced on all lines, following inspection work instructions and applicable governmental requirements, to confirm proper function and identify any product non-conformances.
- Verify circuit breakers function properly and use a torque wrench to ensure torqued connections.
- Examine and verify mating structures to ensure job completion and field installation is problem-free.
- Verify revisions released to the production floor are incorporated into the product, and documentation reflects the current revision.
- Document and communicate non-conformances, which are critical quality records, and verify required rework to aid problem-solving and continuous improvement efforts.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 3 years manufacturing, production, or military experience OR a degree in a technical discipline.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
- No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate area of the Eaton El Paso, TX facility (50-mile radius) will be considered for this position.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Two or more years of experience in a Quality or Inspector position in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in switchboard assembly (Wiring, Connectors, or Closeout Areas).
- Computer literate.
- Working knowledge of Lean concepts.
- Associate's degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or Electronics.
