Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Finance Manager to join our team at Nightwing. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the P&L for a $0.5B business, including forecasting, planning, workforce management, adherence, and compliance with NIGHTWING policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of the P&L, including forecasting, planning, and workforce management
  • Ensure adherence to NIGHTWING policies and procedures
  • Develop and implement cost strategies to support successful captures
  • Interface with all levels and functions within the organization to drive business performance
  • Develop effective strategies for the business, including program execution optimization and new business capture
  • Collaborate with the HCM business leader and functional leadership to drive business results
Requirements
  • Minimum of 12 years of relevant Finance/Accounting experience
  • At least 5 years of experience managing a staff of employees
  • Previous experience managing a P&L or suite of programs
  • Current and active TS/SCI clearance
  • Understanding of CAS and FAR
  • Demonstrated ability to understand risk & opportunity management
  • Working knowledge and experience in multiple disciplines within financial and operational organizations
  • Demonstrated ability to influence upper levels of management and work across the organization to achieve results
  • Demonstrated ability to make decisions to create opportunities and mitigate risk
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively balance own time and available resources to address changing priorities
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build customer relations with internal and external customers
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrates strong attention to detail, quality, and accuracy
  • Demonstrated ability to develop a team capable of offering internally and externally focused analytical insights that drive business decisions and results
  • Capable of working within a highly matrix organization requiring corporate and business unit teamwork
  • Knowledge of government contract accounting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint
  • Process improvement champion and six sigma certification
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of SAP and Costpoint functionality and ability to utilize the system to its fullest capabilities
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or other related field. MBA, CPA, and CMA are preferred.
