Clinical Leadership Specialist

As a key member of the Integrated Team, the Assistant Program Director plays a vital role in the administrative and clinical leadership of the team. Reporting to the Program Director, this licensed clinician helps lead the team's efforts in engaging, assessing, and treating individuals with chronic and persistent mental health issues and substance use disorders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with individuals to develop personalized treatment plans that address their unique needs and goals.
- Provide clinical supervision and direction to team members, ensuring high-quality care and services.
- Assist in the hiring process for team staff, ensuring a strong and diverse team.
- Participate in the development and implementation of Safety Plans and Crisis Prevention and Response Plans to mitigate risk factors.
- Advocate for better access to public services and natural supports to facilitate recovery and community integration.
- Stay up-to-date with evidence-based practices, including motivational interviewing, to provide effective care.
- Contribute to the team's strategic planning, including outreach to shelters and transitional residential programs to engage hard-to-reach populations.
- Assist in the coordination of licensing preparation for licensed apartments and supported housing sites.
- Provide community leadership to eliminate stigma around mental illness.
Requirements:
- Education: LPHA licensure required (LICSW, LCSW, LMHC, LRC, LADC1, M.D., R.N., Registered Occupational Therapist, or licensed Psychologist).
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in clinical or rehabilitative services, with at least 1 year of supervisory experience.
- Skills: MAP certification, CPR/first aid certification, and a Massachusetts Driver's License.
