Job Summary

Citizens Medical Center is seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing quality patient care and supporting the licensed nurses in delivering exceptional healthcare services.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist licensed nurses in providing patient care and activities of daily living.
  • Contribute to the delivery of quality nursing care by engaging in nursing care and activities of daily living within the scope of practice defined by the Texas Department of Health.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Document patient information and vital signs accurately and efficiently.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of State of Texas approved nursing assistant course.
  • Current Texas Department of Health certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
