Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Certified Medication Aide to join our team at Twin Pines Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. As a Medication Administration Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and accurate administration of medications to our residents. This is a critical role that requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer medications to residents according to physician orders and company policies

• Monitor residents for adverse reactions to medications and report any concerns to the Charge Nurse

• Maintain accurate records of medication administration and report any errors to the Charge Nurse

• Ensure the security and integrity of the medication cart and environment

• Maintain confidentiality and privacy of residents' information

• Adhere to infection control policies for medication administration

Requirements:

• Current Medication Administration certification from the state

• Ability to record information and perform technical procedures

• Excellent communication skills and self-discipline

• Demonstrate competence in medication administration
