Position Summary: This position presents an excellent opportunity for driven professionals eager to leverage their technical accounting expertise to make a substantial impact on our financial operations. You will collaborate closely with our finance team to ensure precise and timely financial reporting and oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Financial Record Management: Analyze and maintain ledger accounts, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting that complies with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
  2. SEC Reporting: Prepare quarterly and annual filings (10-Q, 10-K) and assist in the internal and external review processes for these documents.
  3. Audit Coordination: Facilitate and complete monthly closing procedures and annual audits by collaborating with external auditors.
  4. Technical Accounting: Investigate and resolve accounting issues, including the evaluation and implementation of new accounting standards to ensure compliance with US GAAP.
  5. Month-End Closing: Prepare journal entries, conduct account reconciliations, and adhere to internal control protocols.
  6. Financial Analysis: Execute month-end closing activities, including variance analysis, and prepare detailed account analyses while reconciling sales, costs, and balance sheet accounts.
  7. Process Enhancement: Develop and implement accounting procedures by assessing current practices and recommending improvements.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting with experience in Public Accounting (Big 4 preferred).
  2. CPA or CMA certification is preferred.
  3. Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in technical accounting, GAAP, SEC reporting, and audit.
  4. Strong grasp of accounting principles and US GAAP.
  5. High proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and accounting software.
  6. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  7. Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  8. Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey financial information clearly to non-financial colleagues and senior management.
