Position Summary:

This position presents an excellent opportunity for driven professionals who wish to leverage their technical accounting expertise to make a substantial contribution to our financial operations. You will collaborate closely with our finance team to guarantee precise and timely financial reporting and oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

1. **Financial Record Management:** Analyze and uphold ledger accounts, deliver accurate and timely financial reporting, and ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

2. **SEC Reporting:** Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements (10-Q, 10-K) and assist in the internal and external review processes for these documents.

3. **Audit Coordination:** Facilitate monthly closing procedures and annual audits by liaising with external auditors.

4. **Technical Accounting Research:** Investigate and resolve accounting challenges, including the assessment and application of new accounting standards to ensure compliance with US GAAP.

5. **Month-End Closing:** Prepare journal entries, conduct account reconciliations, and adhere to established internal controls.

6. **Financial Analysis:** Execute month-end closing activities, including variance analysis, and prepare detailed account reconciliations for sales, costs, and balance sheet accounts.

7. **Process Enhancement:** Analyze existing accounting procedures and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting with experience in Public Accounting (Big 4 experience preferred).

2. CPA or CMA certification is preferred.

3. At least 2 years of relevant experience in technical accounting, GAAP, SEC reporting, and audit.

4. Strong grasp of accounting principles and US GAAP.

5. High proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with accounting software.

6. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

7. Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks effectively.

8. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the capability to convey financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders and senior management.
