Position Overview:

We are in search of a Development Operations Specialist to become an integral part of our team, responsible for managing donor and supporter information, thereby enhancing our fundraising efforts, narrative development, and systemic change initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

CRM Oversight:

Manage and uphold our Salesforce (and future CRM systems) to guarantee precise and current records of donors and supporters.

Gift Processing & Acknowledgment:

Record cash and in-kind contributions and manage acknowledgments within Salesforce as part of the gift processing workflow.

Ensure timely recognition of contributions made to the organization, including establishing action paths for gift officers and generating appreciation letters.

Prospect Research:

Identify potential donors for engagement by gift officers and keep them informed about opportunities for enhanced donor involvement.

Data Migration & Integrity:

Lead the transition of donation data from external sources into our primary CRM, ensuring data accuracy and enhancing fundraising strategies, while performing cleanup tasks to improve reporting precision.

Grant Management:

Develop and oversee CRM-based grant management strategies, enabling the organization to monitor deadlines, forecast budgets, and report on fundraising progress.

Reporting and Analytics:

Create and maintain reports and dashboards for institutional and individual giving, providing insights to support organizational objectives.

Training and Support:

Educate and assist non-technical staff on data-related processes and tools, enhancing their ability to effectively utilize data in their roles.

Project Planning:

Contribute to project planning initiatives, ensuring that data and technology projects align with organizational goals and timelines.

Fundraising Support:

Assist with independent revenue generation activities, including fundraising campaigns, peer-to-peer fundraising, and individual giving initiatives.


Compensation and Benefits:

$31.00 per hour
Full-Time, Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Qualifications:
Technical Proficiency:

Strong experience with donor CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and data management tools (Excel, Google Sheets, Airtable).

Data Management:

Proven history of managing and refining large datasets, enhancing data quality, and ensuring accuracy in reporting.

Fundraising Experience:

Background in supporting fundraising and/or membership campaigns, including data analysis and strategy formulation.

Relational Communication:

Ability to communicate directly with supporters when necessary, in alignment with the organization's values and objectives.

Project Management:

Capability to plan and execute data and technology projects, ensuring timely completion and alignment with organizational needs.

Training and Facilitation:

Experience in training and supporting non-technical staff, enhancing their understanding and use of data tools and processes.

Analytical Skills:

Strong analytical abilities, with the capacity to interpret data and provide actionable insights to support organizational goals.

Communication:

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences.

Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Four Years of Experience.
