Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our team at the manufacturing center of excellence for the Vascular division's expanding Atherectomy business.

The Senior Financial Analyst will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive cost planning, analysis, and reporting to site leadership, ensuring that targeted objectives are met while offering strategic recommendations for cost reduction, future scalability, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the financial and operational performance of the Vascular manufacturing sites, comparing planned and actual results across various cost centers and general ledger accounts.
  • Analyze spending trends and propose actionable strategies to enhance financial outcomes.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and support teams to develop the Annual Operation Plan and Latest Best Estimates for the manufacturing site.
  • Prepare and validate various operational reports, ensuring accuracy and alignment with the site Leadership Team and Division Operations Finance.
  • Develop and manage reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators, serving as the Subject Matter Expert on site financial performance.
  • Handle Planful system data management, including data uploads, retrievals, and reconciliations with other ERP systems to maintain data integrity.
  • Monitor and reconcile balance sheet accounts, including Fixed Assets and Accruals.
  • Create financial reports and dashboards tailored to the needs of the Operating teams.
  • Design tools to track and analyze Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) trends and benchmarks.
  • Lead finance initiatives supporting cost reduction strategies that promote sustainable growth.
  • Interpret financial data regarding costs, pricing, expenses, and revenues, providing insights to senior management.
  • Act as the Capital Analyst for the manufacturing plants, overseeing capital approval and expenditure tracking, reporting, and analysis.
  • Collaborate with project owners to generate Requests for Capital Expenditure (RCE) and provide training on capital processes.
Qualifications

Required:
Associates Degree with a minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in a related field.

Preferred:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
Experience in a manufacturing environment is advantageous.
Familiarity with financial systems such as Essbase, Planful, Epicor, SAP, or HFM is preferred.
Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or CPIM are desirable.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to navigate uncertainties and adapt to changing priorities proactively. A strong results-oriented mindset and initiative in understanding business needs are essential for success in this role.
