The Impact You'll Make in this Role
  • Drive the development and enhancement of financial and management accounting processes and application products and services.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including controller operations, various IT teams, finance, and risk management, to ensure the successful delivery of financial accounting solutions that meet the needs of our organization.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy for Financial Accounting products.
  • Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch, ensuring that products are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the defined requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including controller operations, finance, risk management, and IT teams, to gather requirements, prioritize features, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain a product roadmap that outlines the strategic direction and timeline for product enhancements and new product launches.
  • Work closely with development teams using Agile methodologies, to ensure efficient and effective product delivery.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive product documentation, including user stories, product requirements, and technical specifications.
  • Track and analyze product performance metrics, customer feedback, and market trends to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous product enhancements.
  • Ensure that Financial Accounting products comply with regulatory requirements and internal risk management policies.
Your Skills and Expertise
  • Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution.
  • Five years of experience with finance business processes in a private, public, government or military environment.
  • Three years of experience with SAP FICO solution in a private, public, government or military environment.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Financial Analyst or similar role, preferably in the finance.
  • Strong understanding of General Ledger, Cost Calculation, Cost Analysis, Asset & Project Accounting.
  • Familiarity with SAP and financial technology solutions such as Nakisa and Blackline.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment, using methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
