At Destiny Healthcare Services - Westchester, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Onboarding Specialist to join our team. As an HR Onboarding Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for our new hires.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the onboarding process for new employees, including setting up orientations and ensuring accurate completion of required hiring documents.
  • Coordinate and track all required initial training, in-service training, supervisions, evaluations, disciplinary actions, and required health data.
  • Communicate effectively with the Agency Manager and scheduling departments to resolve employee issues.
  • Advocate for employees to ensure effective operations and maintain personnel files from hire to termination.
  • Assist the Agency Manager in preparing for audits or surveys and maintain personnel files and the HR department "survey ready" at all times.
  • Participate in the QA Committee program and actively encourage employee recognition programs.
  • Handle employee benefits and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • 1-year recent HR experience in filing/data entry, etc., in a home service-related company is preferred.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English).
  • Moderate competency with computers and keyboarding, EXCEL spreadsheet competence is required.
  • Ability to effectively multi-task and be self-directed most of the time.
  • Able to relocate during the week schedule between Aurora and Joliet.
