WHAT YOU WILL DO

Staffing

  • Post open positions as directed by HR team leaders.
  • Review incoming applications and identify qualified candidates.
  • Communicate proactively with ministry leaders on staffing needs and applicant statuses.
  • Communicate regularly with candidates on application status.
  • Facilitate each step of the interview process.
  • Process administrative documentation for new hires, internal transfers, and separations.
  • Continually maintain and fully utilize Saddleback's HR systems.
  • Act as the main point of contact for employment inquiries from the public.
Generalist responsibilities
  • Oversee the process of hiring independent contractors
  • Support HR leaders with implementing new systems, training, and other programs.
  • Conduct research at the direction of the Sr. Director of HR.
  • Prepare all materials for employee orientations.
WHAT YOU HAVE DONE
  • Two or more years of Human Resources experience as a generalist and experience in staffing preferred.
  • Deep understanding of Saddleback Church.
  • Experience with Google Workspace is highly desirable.
  • Experience working with UKG Pro or another applicant tracking system.
  • Excellent communication skills via email, phone, and in-person with all levels of an organization.


WHAT WE OFFER

Saddleback Church's pay philosophy is based on internal and external data for pay equity and budgetary considerations for effective stewardship. The estimated pay rate for this position is $23.00-$26.00 per hour. We will provide a pay rate within our salary structure that fits a candidate's qualifications and experience for the job. The posted wage range does not guarantee a specific job offer.
