Team Insight

The Brand Marketing team at CookUnity is dedicated to creating and executing innovative marketing strategies that elevate brand recognition and cultivate lasting loyalty. This team is responsible for defining the brand's vision and strategy, bringing it to life through creativity and cultural relevance. By leveraging data-driven insights, the Brand Marketing team aims to establish a brand that resonates with a new generation of food lovers.

Position Summary

We are in search of a highly skilled Culinary Presentation Specialist to join our creative team and contribute to making CookUnity a standout name in the food industry. This role focuses on the preparation and styling of food for photography and videography, ensuring that all culinary offerings are presented in an enticing and visually appealing manner, adhering to our established food styling standards.

The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, demonstrate boundless creativity, and have a profound understanding of contemporary culinary techniques and trends. Strong organizational abilities, punctuality, and the capacity to manage multiple projects concurrently are essential. We seek an ambitious individual with a portfolio that reflects a history of outstanding work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and style food items for various media formats.
  • Collaborate with the Creative Director to ensure food products are showcased attractively in line with CookUnity's brand standards.
  • Work alongside photographers, videographers, chefs, and other team members to achieve desired visual results.
  • Provide creative suggestions for food presentations and styling.
  • Stay informed about current food trends and integrate them into styling practices.
  • Coordinate with marketing and creative teams to understand project needs and deliverables.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional team members to ensure timely ingredient delivery and smooth execution of shoots.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized workspace.
  • Ensure all styling tools and equipment are well-maintained.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience as a Food Stylist, with a background in both commercial and editorial settings.
  • Proficiency in styling for video and various social media platforms is essential.
  • Experience in fast-paced environments with tight deadlines.
  • Strong culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques.
  • Excellent visual and aesthetic sensibility.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience collaborating with chefs in restaurant kitchens.
  • A culinary degree is advantageous for this role.

Compensation

Compensation will be determined based on the candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and market alignment. The pay range for this position is $90,000—$105,000 USD.
