Job Title: Registered Nurse-2NE Med Surg-7A

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas.

About the Role:

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support to patients in the 2NE Med Surg-7A unit. This role requires a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient outcomes and a passion for working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized, goal-directed nursing care to patients of all ages.
  • Delegate tasks to unlicensed personnel while ensuring patient safety and adhering to the Texas Nurse Practice Act.
  • Implement measures to promote a safe environment for patients and others.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and unit activities.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care and support to patients.
Requirements:
  • Current RN license in the State of Texas.
  • BLS certification.
  • Unit-specific competencies obtained within six months of hire.
