ESOL Teacher for Adult Life Skills and Employment Program

We are seeking an ESOL teacher to join our team at the New American Association of Massachusetts. This is a part-time position that involves teaching adult learners in a variety of skills, including reading, writing, conversation, and pronunciation.
Responsibilities:- Taught an in-person ESOL class to adult learners in reading, writing, conversation/pronunciation, and grammar
- Assessed student language skills and created individualized lesson plans
- Fostered active conversation practice and encouraged students to share their experiences and perspectives
The ideal candidate will have experience teaching diverse populations and skill levels in one classroom and possess a strong command of the English language. A Bachelor's Degree and TESOL/TESL/TEFL certificate are also required.
Salary: $28 per hour
