About the Role

We are seeking a highly qualified and dedicated Middle School Special Education Teacher to join our team at Impact Prep. As a Special Education Teacher, you will play a critical role in providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment for our students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to meet the unique needs of each student
  • Collaborate with general education teachers to ensure seamless integration of special education services
  • Provide direct instruction and support to students in a variety of settings, including classrooms and small group settings
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet the needs of all learners
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to ensure a collaborative approach to student success

Requirements

  • Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) certification in Special Education
  • Experience working with students with diverse learning needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
