Key Responsibilities of the Accounting Manager:

  • Oversee the preparation and review of individual (1040), partnership (1065), and corporate tax returns.
  • Conduct thorough tax research and offer solutions for intricate tax challenges.
  • Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local tax regulations.
  • Manage various client engagements, delivering exceptional client service and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Assist in developing and executing tax planning strategies.
  • Supervise and mentor junior tax personnel, providing essential guidance for their career growth.
  • Collaborate with other departments to guarantee accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Stay informed about changes in tax legislation and communicate relevant updates to clients and staff.
  • Utilize CCH Prosystems FX for tax preparation and review tasks.

Preferred Qualifications of the Accounting Manager:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting with a specialization in tax.
  • Expertise in preparing and reviewing 1040, 1065, and 1120 tax returns.
  • Strong understanding of accounting and tax principles.
  • Extensive experience with CCH Prosystems FX.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Compensation Range: $140,000-$160,000
