Position Overview

We are in search of a Senior Vice President to enhance our Forensic Accounting Insurance Services division. This role presents a unique opportunity for a proactive and highly motivated individual with a diverse skill set. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of forensic accounting and consulting within the insurance sector, while also demonstrating flexibility and strategic thinking to tackle a variety of responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough reviews and assessments of substantial commercial insurance claims and related assignments, including property damage, product recalls, liability, theft/fidelity, and business interruption/lost profits across various industries.
  • Evaluate detailed financial statements and data (including revenue and expense reports, forecasts, and budgets) to develop comprehensive analyses.
  • Analyze financial information in Excel to assist in measuring business interruption, inventory, extra expenses, and property damage losses.
  • Develop projection models based on revenue and expense analyses.
  • Effectively communicate analytical findings to supervisors and clients.
  • Prepare detailed written reports and narratives for client distribution.
  • Participate in client meetings (via telephone, online, or in-person) to present findings and collaborate with team members.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in accounting, finance, or economics.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in public accounting or a closely related field.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and advanced formulas.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in forensic accounting and/or evaluating commercial insurance claim losses.
Physical and Mental Job Requirements
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.
