Customer Service Team Leader

The Sales Team Supervisor is responsible for overseeing various customer service and sales activities, which include warmly greeting and assisting all customers in a timely and friendly manner, handling merchandise with care, and providing valuable information and guidance to customers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Fosters a strong commitment to exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive and productive shopping experience for all patrons. Guarantees a pleasant and efficient shopping environment for every customer. Demonstrates products effectively to customers. Restocks shelves with merchandise as needed according to merchandising standards. Maintains expertise in products through continuous training and knowledge enhancement. Stays informed about promotional sales; ensures accurate pricing and signage. Assists with the seasonal rearrangement of floor merchandise. Restores merchandise to shelves as required. Keeps the work area organized, tidy, and well-supplied. Adheres to all company policies and procedures. Delivers an outstanding experience for every customer by aiding them in making informed purchasing decisions through: identifying and assessing customer needs, providing product recommendations based on this evaluation, and promoting programs such as membership and in-store services. Performs all other duties as assigned.EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education requirement: High School diploma or equivalent experience.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:
Proficient in calculating discounts and processing customer transactions. Capable of communicating in a friendly and professional manner with customers and colleagues. Skilled in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with management, coworkers, and customers. Competent in operating computerized point-of-sale systems.TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

Regularly stands and/or walks during shifts. Occasionally climbs or descends ladders, stairs, ramps, etc. Frequently communicates with others to exchange information. Occasionally performs repetitive motions involving wrists, hands, and/or fingers. Occasionally operates machinery and/or power tools. Occasionally drives motor vehicles or heavy equipment. Engages in light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds frequently, and may occasionally lift objects up to 100 pounds or more (utilizing team assistance as necessary). Occasionally works in tight and confined spaces. Occasionally works in noisy environments.INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT:
Executes tasks and responsibilities under general supervision, utilizing established procedures and innovative thinking. Selects from limited alternatives to address issues.
