Position Summary

We are in search of a dedicated Warehouse Production Associate to contribute to our dynamic workforce at HS BLOCKERCORP INC. In this essential role, you will be tasked with operating machinery, managing materials and finished products, and upholding the highest standards of quality throughout our production operations. If you excel in a fast-paced setting and are passionate about manufacturing excellence, this position is tailored for you.

The warehouse functions on two shifts daily, spanning 5 to 7 days each week. Employees may be required to alternate shifts as part of their job responsibilities. Fluctuations in production demands may lead to adjustments in the work schedule.

Key Responsibilities

  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure work environment.
  • Assist in production by verifying raw material quantities and facilitating the transport of materials between staging and production areas. Engage in the startup, operation, and shutdown of blending and packaging machinery.
  • Cross-train across various production functions.
  • Execute all necessary OSHA processes and maintain required documentation.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing performance.
  • Attend mandatory meetings and training sessions.
  • Conduct sanitation and cleanup tasks as needed.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must possess the legal right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Strong attention to detail is essential.
  • Basic computer proficiency and effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. consistently throughout the shift.
  • Capability to perform physical tasks for extended periods, including standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, pulling, and twisting.
  • Willingness to work at heights using stairs, ladders, personnel lifts, or platforms.
  • Flexibility to work any shift schedule, including nights and weekends on a rotating basis.
  • Ability to wear protective gear such as safety shoes, face masks, safety glasses, hearing protection, hard hats, hair/beard nets, and gloves when necessary.
  • Capacity to work in varying environmental conditions, including hot, cold, noisy, and dusty environments.
  • Commitment to a personal device-free workplace; no electronic devices are permitted on the production floor.
  • Willingness to sign a confidentiality agreement.
  • Ability to work in a tobacco-free environment, except in designated areas.
  • Dependable and punctual.

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Ability to follow process flows and possess basic troubleshooting skills.
  • Basic mechanical skills with the ability to identify and resolve malfunctions.
  • Integrity and a strong sense of ownership in achieving success.
  • Accountability and excellent communication skills.
  • Forklift and reach lift certification is a plus.
