Warehouse Inventory Specialist

As a Warehouse Inventory Specialist, your role is crucial in ensuring that products are efficiently managed and delivered. You will be responsible for receiving, storing, selecting, packing, and shipping inventory within our warehouse. Utilizing a Warehouse Management System is essential, as technology plays a key role in our operations. Work Schedule and Hours:
- Full-time, hourly, non-exempt position
- Monday to Friday
- 12:00 PM to 8:45 PM
- Predictable work hours, allowing for a balanced personal life: typically no weekends or night shifts.
- Generous paid time-off policy, including over three weeks of vacation, sick leave, and volunteer time.
Compensation Overview:
- The anticipated pay rate for this position is $22.00 per hour, which includes a $1.50 per hour shift differential.
Additional Requirements:
- Steel-toed boots are mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate various warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks, forklifts, and push carts.
- Receive and properly store incoming materials according to warehouse management protocols.
- Select, pack, and palletize outgoing shipments.
- Sort and pack less-than-truckload shipments and conduct cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment by adhering to safety procedures and performing daily inspections.
Qualifications:
- Must not have a fear of heights.
- Ability to meet physical demands in a warehouse setting, including lifting various loads, cutting wire, climbing ladders, and maintaining mobility in diverse temperatures; must pass pre-employment physical testing.
- Minimum age requirement is 18 years.
- Strong attendance and work ethic are essential.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience is preferred.
- Previous experience in a large warehouse utilizing a warehouse management system is advantageous.
