We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team at Core-Mark. As a key member of our supply chain logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of products through our production process.
Key Responsibilities- Warehouse Operations: Select cases and other containers of food and non-food products to fill customer orders from multi-level rack warehouse storage systems.
- Pallet Management: Place pallets on pallet jacks and operate along assigned multi-level racks to locate products according to order sheets.
- Product Handling: Manually place stock items on pallets from pick slots and racks as required, using single and/or double pallets as directed.
- Shipping and Receiving: Transport completed palletized customer orders to shipping dock staging areas, and may be required to shrink-wrap pallets for staging.
- Equipment Maintenance: Remove batteries requiring recharging, replace with charged batteries, or attach re-chargers, and complete vehicle inspection checklists.
- Education: High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
- Experience: 6-12 months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience
- Physical Demands: Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout the shift; able to lift and stack product between 10-35 pounds and up to 80 pounds occasionally throughout the shift
- Work Environment: Able to work in multi-temperature environments, including cooler, freezer, and dry areas
