Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project management teams to create and finalize procurement packages for selecting contractors and service providers.
- Oversee competitive bidding and selection processes for construction and professional services, managing all administrative tasks involved.
- Administer pre-qualification processes for professional and construction service firms, including preparation of RFQ packages and leading evaluation meetings.
- Adapt to changing departmental needs by taking on various tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and legal requirements in all procurement activities.
- Maintain reporting, tracking, and quality control for procurement processes.
- Handle multiple procurement processes simultaneously, coordinating with various stakeholders.
- Perform administrative duties without supervising others in these functions.
- Exhibit meticulous attention to detail and compliance, especially under audit scrutiny.
- Follow the current policy of four in-office days and one remote workday per week, subject to supervisor approval.
Qualifications:
Required:
- 1-3 years of relevant experience.
- Familiarity with standard contract terms and conditions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Demonstrated reliability, responsiveness, and integrity in work ethic.
- Detail-oriented and organized with strong analytical skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage and report on multiple concurrent projects.
Preferred:
- Associate's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience in program or project management.
- Familiarity with electronic bidding and project management software.
