Child Development Specialist

This role is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Teacher at KinderCare Education. As a Child Development Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing our curriculum in a way that meets the unique needs of each child. You will also create a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment where children can learn, play, and thrive.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing lesson plans that align with our curriculum and meet the needs of each child
- Building strong relationships with parents and families through regular communication and updates
- Working collaboratively with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement
- Cultivating positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Outstanding customer service skills and the ability to multitask effectively
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- A willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification, if required by the state
- The ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to read, write, understand, and speak English fluently
