Job Overview

TEKsystems is seeking a Help Desk Support Specialist to join our team for a 3-4 month project. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to our clients.

Job Summary

As a Help Desk Support Specialist, you will be the primary point of contact for our clients and will be responsible for resolving technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of the Help Desk Support Specialist role include:

  • Providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to clients
  • Resolving technical issues in a timely and efficient manner
  • Documenting all interactions with clients in our ticketing system
  • Participating in regular training classes to learn the ins and outs of our technology and how to troubleshoot common requests
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have strong technical skills and be able to work well in a team environment. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong technical skills, including knowledge of Windows 10, customer service, and troubleshooting
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to type at least 30 wpm
  • Entry-level to 1 year of IT experience or similar education/knowledge
